Story
I’m incredibly proud to be running the London Marathon on 26th April — but I won’t just be running it… I’ll be attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon ever run in Crocs 👟
The current record stands at 2:48:48 and I’ll be giving everything I’ve got to beat it.
More importantly, I’m running in support of the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), a charity that provides lifelong support to soldiers, veterans, and their families when they need it most.
I’m running in memory of Owen Milner, a serving REME soldier at the time, and his father Ian Milner. After the tragic loss of Owen, Ian became a passionate supporter of ABF, helping others within the military community through incredibly difficult times. Sadly, both Owen and Ian lost their lives in separate road traffic accidents in 2014 and 2016.
Taking on this marathon and attempting a world record is my way of honouring their memory while raising funds for a cause that meant so much to them.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help ABF continue their vital work supporting soldiers, veterans, and families facing hardship, injury, or loss.
If you can support, donate, or share this page, it would mean the world. Your encouragement will help carry me through every mile (even in Crocs!).
Thank you so much 🏃🏻♂️
