Story
At 16 years old, I became a wheelchair user due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Spastic Paraplegia, I had to drop out of my education, couldn't work or do many of the things I previously loved. In 2020 I had Neurosurgery in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals to fit a Baclofen Pump which completely changed my life by giving me much of my mobility back and ongoing care at LTH is making my symptoms manageable.
Since then I've travelled to 37 new countries, climbed over 200 mountains including 163 Wainwrights, and now work for the hospital that made it all possible as an MDT coordinator for spinal surgery in Orthopaedics. I'll be travelling to Cambodia in November 2025 to take part in a 5 day trek to Angkor Wat to raise money for the LTH charities, any sponsorship is very much appreciated for this amazing charity! Thank you!
