I still can't believe I'm going to do this - I plan on jumping out of a plane! It's for a cause close to my heart, so will you help me make it count?

Hi, my name is Selim. I’m a consultant psychiatrist by profession, and when I’m not working, I enjoy exploring culture, history, cooking, and travel. But more than that, I care deeply about education and helping communities grow.

That’s why I’m proud and honoured to serve as the Chair of Governors at Harmony Primary School in Harrow. We are a small independent day school with a big vision. Harmony is more than just a school. It is a place where children are nurtured to grow in confidence, character, and curiosity. Our aim is to provide a truly holistic education that shapes both the minds and hearts of our young learners so they become integral and positive contributors to society.

As a school we are still young, and we are growing, but we need your help to do more. We want to expand, provide more facilities and opportunities and enrich our young learners with positivity, and a desire to want to do more.

So I have decided to take on a personal challenge that is completely outside my comfort zone. I’m going to skydive! Not for the thrill of it, as it is rather daunting, but rather to raise funds that will directly benefit our students and the wider school community.

For someone like me, who is naturally reserved and not a fan of heights, this is no small step. But I believe our children are worth every leap and so I’m reaching out to you.

Your donation will go towards vital resources and enriching experiences for our learners. This could include new learning materials, creative workshops, sports equipment, or even upgrading our outdoor play areas. Every contribution, big or small, will make a real and lasting difference.
