Cycling over 200 miles in support of The Brain Tumour Charity
12–13th September 2025
This September, a team from Harniss will take on a demanding two-day, 200+ mile cycle challenge in support of The Brain Tumour Charity – the UK’s leading organisation dedicated to beating brain tumours.
A Cause Close to Home
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK. Yet despite their impact, brain tumour research receives just 1% of the national spend on cancer research. For several of our colleagues at Harniss, this is a cause that’s deeply personal – and we’re proud to ride in honour of the individuals and families affected.
Our Route: A Journey with Purpose
Over the course of two days, we’ll cycle across the region, stopping at several of our sites along the way:
Day 1
🚴30 miles in – Barchester Huntingdon
🚴 50 miles in – Hamberley Cambridge
🏁 104 miles – Day 1 finish in Ipswich
Day 2
🚴 204 miles in – Avery Park Kettering
🏁 206 miles – Day 2 finish at Harniss HQ
It’s a physically and mentally demanding route – but one driven by a shared goal: to help change the future for people affected by brain tumours.
How You Can Help
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help fund pioneering research, improve early diagnosis, and support individuals and families facing brain tumours. Your support means everything – and will help us push through every mile.
Please give what you can and help us Pedal for Purpose.
Together, we can fund progress and bring hope to those who need it most.
