Fix Auto Skegness and friends have been planning a charity cycle ride for some time now with the intention to raise funds for the NeoNatal unit at Grimsby Hospital in appreciation of the care given to our friend and colleague Wayne’s twin boys born early and needing their care, which was outstanding. Sadly, Cody could not survive but Elliot now 18 months has thrived and is a beautiful healthy boy.

Such was the appreciation to the neonatal unit and the intent to raise funds for them that an ambitious challenge was set. It was whilst on his bike, in training that tragedy struck and Wayne was killed. We are all devastated and miss him so much but know that he would have wanted the funds to be raised and we are now have greater motivation for more funding to include the Air Ambulance which met Wayne at the time of great need and did all they could to save his life (Money for the Air Ambulance is raised via entry to the event).
