At Atkins we are given two volunteering days a year, one of which I shall be using to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 7th of September. This is in aid of Lifeshare, a charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester and Salford.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a 39.2km, 1600m ascent, circular walk which encompasses three major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales; Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough - all to be completed within 12 hours.
