Story
Suffolk Prickles Hedgehog Rescue is a charity that is dedicated to caring for poorly, injured and orphaned hedgehogs. They also work to advance the education of the public in the study of hedgehogs and in the care, methods of treatment, conservation and habitat of hedgehogs.
Hedgehogs are classed as endangered in the UK, where the Hedgehog population has declined by 75%. To put that into context, 60 years ago, 36 million hedgehogs were in UK gardens, now there are thought to be around one million left.
We are hosting a bake sale with 100% of all the money raised being donated to Suffolk Prickles Hedgehog Rescue on Monday 20th April in the University & Professional Development Centre. We will have some homemade cakes, cookies and fresh pastries from The Cornish Bakery. Everything is £2 or less and we are card friendly!
Don't fancy a cake? Donate regardless and help keep our hedgehogs safe.
Thank you.
