Story
I'm doing the Royal Parks half marathon in support of the National AIDS Trust - an organisation doing incredible work with and for people living with HIV, which I've seen first-hand having previously worked there.
There are approximately 105,000 people currently living with HIV in the UK and 39 million globally. Ongoing budget cuts and lack of political prioritisation put the progress made in the HIV response at risk. HIV related stigma and discrimination are still commonplace and many people living with HIV around the world do not have access to adequate treatment, services and support.
The National AIDS Trust does vital work to end new HIV transmissions and to champion the human rights of people living with HIV.
Anything you can donate will help massively!
Thank you so much!
