Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. When a work email on 21st February announced 2 charity spaces for the London Marathon to raise money for Dementia UK, I didn’t think twice about applying. My grandma suffered with Alzheimer’s, as did my great grandma and my best friend’s Grandad, and the sheer debilitating effect of this disease has stayed with me. As the years tick by, the realisation that more of our loved ones will potentially be effected by one of the many diseases that Dementia UK support, it’s with pride that I’ll be running the London marathon to raise money for this cause. With 8 and a half weeks between getting a place and running the marathon, the mild panic is starting to set in!! If you can spare any money for this worthwhile and deserving cause, I’d be eternally grateful!
