NRAS works to support the 450,000 people living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and the 10,000 children and young people living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), their families, friends, carers and the healthcare professionals who treat them.

Story

We are taking on the Purple Gunge Challenge to raise funds and awareness for the 10,000+ young people in the UK who have arthritis.

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a type of inflammatory arthritis that affects the joints and organs and can significantly impact a young person's mobility, sometimes leaving them reliant on a wheelchair.

There is no cure, but we can help!

We have persuaded our members of staff to take part in our Purple Gunge Challenge on Friday 23rd May!

And it's up to you to decide who is going to get GUNGED!! so please donate and vote for who you would like to see gunged!

There will also be a bake sale after school at 3.15pm on Thursday 22nd May

£5 will provide 3 booklets to help children learn about the disease and give practical advice

£10 will provide a 30-minute helpline call to give support at a time of crisis

£30 will enable a one-hour facilitated meeting for a family with a recent diagnosis
