This October, I’ll be taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK in support of my mum.

In March, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, because it was found early and thanks to the care and research that has gone into improving cancer treatment, she completed her treatment in August and is now completely cancer free!

I am in no way shape or form any sort of athlete! Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Cancer Research UK continue their work to improve treatments, save lives and give more families the hope that we were so lucky to have!
