Story

I now work for the incredible Bore Place - the home of the Commonwork Trust, a charity dedicated to nature recovery, outdoor learning and community engagement set in 500 acres of Kent landscape.

With our natural world under constant threat, Bore Place sets an example in how to enhance the biodiversity of the natural world in all it does from how it manages its land to volunteering, skills workshops, curriculum based schools activities and hosting stays. It plays a vital role inspiring, engaging and educating all ages and communities in nature, including supporting 200 young people each week, many of whom have special educational needs and disabilities or who may struggle in traditional learning environments, as well as hosting hundreds of visitors annually via its historic buildings and kitchens that serve up organic produce from farm to fork. Yet, we want to do so so much more.

As I participate in the "Steps for Nature" I recognise that our mission is global and our message universal. With your support, we can increase our reach and impact enabling a world where people and nature really can work together. You can take part in your own steps for nature too! Thank you for your support.
