The Fountain Centre provides a caring environment for patients newly diagnosed with cancer, in order to balance the traditional approaches to cancer treatment with a range of complementary therapies and individual support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The chances are we will all be impacted by cancer at some stage of our lives, and when it happens it is so important to get the right help and support to help you navigate through the difficult times.

Kirsty (Harris) and Sarah (Nixon) have both had treatment for Breast Cancer. Kirsty is currently finishing her treatment. We were all very lucky to have had tremendous support from a very close network of family and friends but the support from the the Royal Surrey County Hospital and The Fountain Centre has been invaluable too. They do an incredible job and we all felt we would like to do something to repay their support and hopefully enable them to continue providing support in the future.

The Fountain Centre is an independent charity for cancer patients, their families and carers offering advice, counselling and complementary therapies. They are fully reliant on fundraising and donations to continue providing these amazing services. Charities such as this enable patients and their families to come to terms with cancer and most importantly offer compassion and empathy when it is most needed.

With this is mind Dave Harris and his sons Archie and Connor, Chris Nixon and his son Ollie, and Gary Beight will all be running the Hampton Court Half on March 24th to raise money for The Fountain Centre. Please help us achieve our fundraising target for this fantastic cause!

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and any donation is most welcome.
