St Joseph's Hospice in Thornton, Merseyside, opened its doors in 1974 and has held a special place in the heart of our community ever since. Today, the hospice offers high-quality, professional end of life nursing care and family support services within a peaceful woodland environment.

Story

I have decided to take part in this years Strictly Come Dancing challenge for St. Josephs Hospice.

Now you may be thinking, "Harrison can dance?" and the answer is... not really, although I have been known to shake my bum occasionally. However, after some lessons with my partner Eleanor, I promise you'll be questioning who's the real professional in this partnership! El and I are doing the Jive to my favourite song - she said I don't know what I've got myself in for but how hard can it be.

Me making a fool of myself is all in aid of St. Joseph's Hospice, an amazing charity who end of life care for the people of Sefton, Liverpool, West Lancashire and Knowsley including support for the patients families and carers. All the money raised from this event and your donations helps the hospice continue their invaluable work.

Please help us raise our target amount of £500 and follow along on my journey to hopefully do more than just shake my bum.
