I'm currently raising money for my grandad, who has been diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB) and is receiving care and treatment at Colchester Hospital.

My Grandad (81) Alan Dalton is an incredibly caring man with dignity, love and someone who will always make you smile or laugh even on the cloudiest of days.

Unfortunately, my grandad is fighting for his life in the ICU, so it is time to fight for him and show how much we care, and to recognise how many positive memories we have and how much love Grandad brings to my families life and everyone else around him.

This has been a difficult time for me and my family, but the support and dedication of the hospital staff have been incredible. The funds raised will go towards supporting Grandads ongoing care and recovery, as well as showing appreciation for the amazing work being done by the team at Colchester.

Every contribution makes a difference and means the world to me and my family.

Unfortunately the circumstances have changed my grandad passed away of Friday, i will be running in memory of my grandad and to celebrate a role model.
