Harrogate Grammar School's chosen charity for 2022/23, SASH Yorkshire, helps raise vital funds to provide care and support for vulnerable young people who are at risk of, or are facing, homelessness.
“SASH help young people across North and East Yorkshire avoid homelessness, by offering a place to stay in homes of volunteers; keeping them safe in a time of crisis. SASH supports them to change their lives and build a positive future. Their ambition is that those they help, never face homelessness again”.
One hundred of our Year 7 and Year 8 students will take on the challenge of spending the night sleeping outdoors, in basic conditions, experiencing some of the difficulties that those who are homeless face on a daily basis.
