Story
We are people living with Parkinson’s (PwP) in Harrogate & district, as well as those who are indirectly but emotionally connected by the condition.
The ethos and the primary focus of the Harrogate Parkinson's family is to provide a frontline service to help and support each other within the community.
We provide opportunities for Branch Members and their families and friends to meet, share experiences and support each other.
We endeavour to keep people informed through newsletters, emails, and the Branch website, as well as monthly Branch Get-togethers, localised drop-in meeting places.
We hold research and social events.
We offer a range of exercise classes such as neuro exercises, Golf, Boxing, Tai Ji, Dance-Fit, Table Tennis and crown green bowls.
We can help with transport to medical appointments when needed.
We also offer limited access to some respite care and counselling services.
To do all of this, the Harrogate Branch depends on donations and fundraising.
All the money raised locally will be spent locally for the benefits of the local people.
We are proud of our services and continuously strive to serve you well.
We are incredibly grateful for donations of any amount and thank you so much for your support.
(NB. remember to complete the Gift Aid Tax Declaration if applicable so that we can receive a further 25p on every £1 that you donate)
