Story
Harry's family and loved ones are raising money for the Donor Family Network in memory of Harry.
Harry was 31 when he died, and in the middle of the worst moment of our lives, he went on to give other people the chance of more time. That feels impossible to put into words. He was the most caring, generous, loving person, so knowing that his final act helped change other people’s lives feels very Harry.
In his final days, we were supported by the most incredible donor nurses, who guided us through something no family should ever have to face with so much kindness, care and compassion. They helped make the unbearable feel a little less lonely.
Donor Family Network supports donor families before, during, and after organ donation. They understand the strange mix of heartbreak and pride that comes with loving someone who became a donor, and they help families feel less alone in that.
Any donation, however small, would mean so much. This is for Harry, and for all the ordinary, wonderful, loved people who go on to do something extraordinary.
