I believe that the stigma for men needs to change. Too many lose their lives and struggle because they have no one there for them.

I want that to change. This basketball tournament is dedicated to those who don't speak up, who are scared of speaking, those who are struggling, and for anyone who has lost someone to mental health.

Tough To Talk's mission is to reduce male suicide rates by empowering men to speak openly about their struggles.

Our founder lost a friend to suicide and has personally faced suicidal behaviour.

This tragedy, along with shocking male suicide statistics, sparked a need for change.

We partner with male-dominated spaces, provide education, and offer resources like our #MANUP book and journals. Our impact is evident in the lives saved and the conversations started about mental health.
