Harry's London Marathon fundraiser for Mental Health Foundation

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Hey 👋 My name is Harry, I'm 18 and my dream is to inspire as many people as possible to show that you can achieve anything you put your mind to and that your struggles do not define you.
I ended 2023 with temporary heart condition called perrimyocarditis which was caused by glandular fever which led me to be off for 2 months and so while I was staying overnight in hospital doing scans and blood tests bored to death I thought to myself how could I turn this adversity into something truly meaningful and inspiring and that’s why I started my running journey in 2024 and I haven’t looked back since. last year I gradually built it up month from a 5k to 10k to 2 half marathons.
Along side fitness and running Im also strongly passionate about mental health as it’s something very close to my heart. I believe it’s not talked about enough especially at a time when it’s more important than ever.
And now in 2025 Ive just completed the TCS London marathon for the mental health foundation.
The Mental Health Foundation is the UKs charity for everyones mental health.
With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, the London Marathon was by far the best day of my life and I’m super grateful for all your support and donations!
