The Mulberry Bush #TeamMB has a team of runners running the TCS London Marathon on April 21st 2024. Your support means we can reach even more vulnerable children, families and communities.

Story

On 21st April 2024 we will be attempting (and hopefully completing!!) the London Marathon in aid of the The Mulberry Bush.

The Mulberry Bush is an extraordinary charity that makes a massive difference to the lives of children who have encountered significant adversity. We are very proud to be running the marathon on behalf of the charity, and hope that in doing so we can help them to continue their amazing work.

The Charity was established in 1948 and provides a residential school for some of the most emotionally distressed and traumatised primary school-aged children. These children have often experienced early trauma, neglect and abuse and have usually had numerous failed educational and home placements. The organisation aims to transform troubled lives through specialist therapeutic care and education. Since it’s inception The Mulberry Bush has developed in to so much more than the School with its outreach services providing training, consultation and support to schools, care services and organisations working with challenging or vulnerable children, their families and communities

We really encourage you to take a look at the website to see the incredible range of work the charity carries out

The school depends on donations to continue its amazing work and we would be extremely grateful if you could help support them by sponsoring us. Any amount , however small, will make a difference to a child’s future .

Thank you so much for your support.

Catch you at the start line.. or preferably the Finish !!
