Tour de Fungi for The Aspergillosis Trust

Tour de Fungi · 6 September 2025
In September, leading mycologists from across the globe will gather in Norwich for the British Society for Medical Mycology Annual Scientific Meeting – a key moment for sharing knowledge and advancing the science of fungal diseases. To mark this important event, I’ll be taking on a cycling challenge, from London to Norwich (over 200km) to raise awareness and vital funds for the Aspergillosis Trust.
The Aspergillosis Trust is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for everyone affected by aspergillosis – a rare and often misdiagnosed fungal condition caused by the Aspergillus mould. The Trust works tirelessly to support patients, promote awareness, and encourage research into aspergillosis and fungal diseases more broadly.
Their mission is clear:
To raise awareness of aspergillosis amongst the general public.
To empower patients by providing accurate, accessible information to help them manage their condition.
To educate healthcare professionals and improve understanding of this complex disease.
To support research that could one day lead to a cure.
By supporting my ride, you’ll be helping the Aspergillosis Trust continue its work to bring hope, understanding, and better care to those affected by this little-known but life-altering condition.
Every mile I pedal is for the patients, families, and researchers striving for a better future. Any donation – big or small – will make a meaningful difference. Thank you so much for your support.
