Story
This isn’t just a bike ride. It’s a journey through history, remembrance, and resilience.
Over two days, I’ll be cycling 200km from RBLI’s village in Aylesford, Kent to the poignant battlefields of Ypres, Belgium, the final resting place of thousands who gave everything for our freedom. We’ll finish at the Menin Gate, and attend The Last Post ceremony.
And I'm doing it in support of Royal British Legion Industries, a charity that provides homes, jobs, and vital support to veterans and their families, many of whom are living with life-changing injuries, PTSD, & the long-term effects of service.
RBLI’s work is life-changing. Their veterans village in Aylesford is a place of dignity, purpose and community. Whether it's supporting someone into meaningful employment after years of struggle, or providing a safe home to a veteran who’s been homeless, every pound raised helps a hero rebuild their life.
Whether it’s £1 or £100, your donation will go directly to helping those who’ve given so much.
I have personally pledged £200 to this great cause. I have also connected my Strava to list all my training rides in the lead up to this event, to show my commitment to the cause.
