Story
In 2026, I’ll be taking on the Brighton Marathon — my first ever marathon (and my first run over 10 miles!) — to raise money for St Barnabas House and the Southern Hospice Group. It’s a huge challenge, especially after not running for over three years due to a knee injury, but it’s one I’m determined to take on for a cause that means everything to me.
St Barnabas supported my close friend Alun in his final months before he passed away, just two days before his 25th birthday. They gave him, and all of us who loved him, the chance to celebrate, laugh, and create memories we’ll never forget. Every year, my friends and I still get together to raise a glass, and funds, in his memory.
They have continued to support so many families in our community with compassion and dignity.
Running this marathon is my way of giving back to those who give so much, to honour Alun and everyone who’s been touched by the incredible work of St Barnabas and the Southern Hospice Group.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
