Donkeys are dear things. They are unquestioning and hard-working. With these qualities it is devastating to know how many are taken advantage of, and uncared for, around the world.

I am therefore delighted to have been given the opportunity to run the London Marathon for Safe Haven for Donkeys. I haven't run a marathon before so I have a training journey ahead. I will document the less boring parts of my training on here.

My ask, is for you to help motivate me by helping me progress towards my funding target, in support of Safe Haven for Donkeys. This will help them to care for thousands of working and abandoned donkeys every year in Israel, the West Bank, Egypt and Gaza.

The team do brilliant work supporting donkeys that are put to work everyday in seriously tough conditions. They educate the owners and provide them with resources to care properly for these tough and wonderful creatures.
