I will be running the London marathon in memory of Owen, my cousin.

Owen was born in July 2025 and lived in the neonatal unit of Leicester Royal Infirmary for nine days before he passed away. Owen came into the world fighting and crying loudly despite his little lungs. He was always reaching, kicking, grasping and he even gave his uncle the middle finger! He had beautiful dark curls and his mum's family nose, he was cheeky like his dad. He was so loved and always will be.

Bodie Hodges offers support for families bereaved of a child across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. They provide 1-1 bereavement counselling during the first two years alongside bereavement peer support groups.
