Story
We have set up this JustGiving page in honour of Harry, who tragically passed away 19th June 2024.
As many of you know, Harry suffered a severe brain injury in 2017. He faced numerous ongoing challenges following his injury, often referring to his disability as "invisible," which added to the difficulty of his situation. Despite these hardships, Harry found solace and joy in singing. Music was a powerful tool for him, significantly aiding his mental health and overall well-being.
Recognizing the importance of mental health support after a brain injury, we would like to support the charity SameYou, an organization dedicated to assisting individuals with their mental health journeys post-brain injury. SameYou's mission aligns with our goal to provide comprehensive support and resources for those facing similar challenges to what Harry did.
Additionally, Harry’s passion for singing and its positive impact on his life has inspired us to support the Sing Up Foundation. This foundation works to inspire children and young people through the power of singing and music. By fostering a love for music, the Sing Up Foundation aims to enhance the long-term health and mental well-being in young people.
Through this charity page, we hope to honor Harry’s memory. We invite you to join us in this endeavour, helping to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by brain injuries and ensuring that Harry’s love for music and his courageous spirit live on.
