I am on a mission to become the first person to travel from the most easterly point of England, Ness Point in Lowestoft, to the most westerly point, Land’s End. On a Stunt Scooter!

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

Do you know what the number one killer of men under 45 is?

It’s not cancer.

It’s suicide.

Men don’t fall into depression because they need to be told they’re “okay just the way they are.”

They fall into depression because their life is not where it should be. Because they lack purpose, direction, and meaning.

Telling someone they’re fine when their job, health, relationships, or confidence are falling apart doesn’t help.

What men need is not comfort.

They need a reason to get up in the morning.

I am bringing lots of attention whilst scootering across the country from Ness Point to Land’s End, and this is something I’m very passionate about.

I’m doing it for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)—a suicide prevention charity that shows up when people hit their lowest point.

£12.20 funds one potentially life-saving call.

This isn’t just about raising money. It’s about raising awareness for the kind of support men actually need; Purpose, Meaning, and goals!

Don’t kill yourself… life can be so much more meaningful I promise!

Let’s bring men back to meaning.
