Harry's fundraiser for Help Musicians

Harry Keeble is raising money for Help Musicians

Endure the Moor Backyard Ultra 2026 · 31 October 2026

Help Musicians is a charity for professional musicians of all genres, both in work and in retirement. We help at times of crisis, but also at times of opportunity, giving people the support they need at the crucial stages that could make or break their career.

Story

Help Musicians is a fantastic charity that has helped so many musicians over the years, including me and my wife on several occasions. They are the people you turn to if a medical issue is hampering your ability to play, or if you need funds for recording and releasing, or if you need your hearing looked after, and so much more.

I have raised funds for this wonderful charity last year on the Great North Run, and would like to do so again leading up to my first ever ultra marathon, which will be the Endure The Moor Backyard Ultra on the 31st of October 2026. We haven't got a huge amount of time before then to raise money, so let's see what happens!

If anyone doesn't know what a backyard ultra is, the format is simple: 4.167 mile laps on the hour, every hour, until you can't go anymore. Some people will be running for days. Not sure how long I'll be going to be honest.

I will also be doing a practice run on Sunday 4th of October. On that run, I will go 1 mile for every £10 donated up til that point, so give what you can reasonably spare, even if it's just a couple of quid. Make me suffer.
