Story

As I’ve hit the milestone of 4 years of streaming on twitch I wanted to try do something a little special and raise some money for a charity near and dear to my heart. Throughout my childhood years to adulthood I struggled intermittently with nasty vertigo episodes and nausea which came to a head in 2019 when the symptoms became much more frequent and in all honesty caused me to become more anxious, more introverted and a much less confident person because of it. Before my formal diagnosis I was off work for a large amount of time unable to cope with the nausea and drop attacks which scared me daily and made it difficult to do my job. I received a formal diagnosis of Ménière’s disease and suddenly my symptoms had both a title and a wide community of people online who experienced these symptoms also. It became an outlet for me to understand and also find ways to manage and deal with the disease on a daily basis. Although it is still very much a part of my daily life it doesn’t bother me and scare me as it once did and that is all thanks to great charities like this one and the Ménière’s society for information and help over the years. For this reason I want to try raise money for something important to me. There will also be a prize to one lucky UK winner as everyone who puts their name or twitch username into the donation, will be entered into a prize draw for a deluxe edition steam key of 007 First Light! Thanks for reading through my rambling and let’s have some fun for a good cause!
