In October 2025, my beautiful wife Hollie was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. She underwent three rounds of life-saving chemotherapy at the Phoenix Unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital.

The care, support, and compassion shown by the incredible staff were outstanding, not just for Hollie but for our whole family. We will never be able to thank them enough.

My closest friends are running the Great North Run to raise money and awareness for this devastating disease. It felt only right to support the Phoenix Unit and Bright Red Charity, who do such vital work for cancer patients and families across the North East.

Hollie is now in remission, and we’re ready to begin our next chapter together. Every donation, big or small, will help these amazing teams continue their life-changing work.
