Hi everyone!

On 26 April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon in support of Shaw Trust.

Shaw Trust is a charity doing genuinely important work at a time when it is needed more than ever. The job market is tougher than it has been in years, and for the people Shaw Trust supports, those challenges are often even greater. They work with individuals facing health conditions, disabilities, long periods out of work, or other barriers that make finding and keeping a job far harder.

Through employment programmes, skills training, mentoring and tailored one-to-one support, Shaw Trust helps people rebuild confidence, gain practical skills and move into meaningful, sustainable work.

Beyond employment, Shaw Trust has a broader impact across people’s lives. They are the UK’s largest not-for-profit provider of residential children’s homes, improving outcomes for looked-after children and giving young people a more secure foundation for the future.

Running the marathon is a big personal challenge, but it feels even more worthwhile knowing it supports an organisation that changes lives in such a practical, lasting way. If you are able to donate, I would be hugely grateful. Every contribution helps Shaw Trust reach more people and will definitely help me through the long winter training runs.
