Hi, we're Harry and Brandon —

I’m a Social Work MSc student currently on placement at Full Circle Docklands, and Brandon is a youth worker with the charity. We’re running a marathon (42km) together to raise money for Full Circle’s summer holiday activities for young people in St Paul’s, Bristol.

I’ve had the pleasure of completing my first-year placement with Full Circle — an incredible charity that has supported the amazing community and local young people for over 45 years.

The summer holidays can be a challenging time for families, especially in areas like St Paul’s, which experiences higher levels of poverty and social deprivation than other areas in Bristol. Many children here miss out on free school meals during the break and don’t have access to the kinds of holiday activities and summer camps that others enjoy.

With youth service funding cut by 70% since 2010, Full Circle is operating on a shoestring budget. Every donation will make a real difference — helping us provide safe, enriching, and fun trips and activities for young people, and easing pressure on families in the community.
