Story
After a last minute dropout, I've been asked to step up and support my friends charity and the amazing work they do in Uganda.
I'm running the London Marathon, after taking a couple years off due to a knee injury...
Will I be able to get back to full running fitness?
Will I damage myself further?
I'll hop the 26 miles if i have too...
Support my mission here!
Lilly Uganda started 15 years ago after it's founders met 32 incredible children living in Kampala, Uganda. These children were all studying at primary school but did not have the funds to continue onto secondary education and so Lilly Uganda was created to ensure that each child was able to receive an education and achieve their full potential.
Over the years students have gone on to become accountants, teachers, plumbers, mechanics and more. And the charity has grown and continues to support children from primary school up to university.
As well as fully funding education, the charity also provides food packages, hygiene products and funding for medical treatment for students to ensure that they are able to fully concentrate on their studies and make the most of every opportunity.
100% of any donation reaches the projects.
