Story
In 2022, my mums heart problem was found by a colleague at work whilst working as a registered nurse. From then she was given life saving treatment to enable her to live a fulfilled life with a device called "sparky" which is a biventricular pacemaker/defibrillator. It was a scary time for us all. It is an inherited disease which means me and my brother may have it later in life. The BHF provides so much guidance and support around how to save lives, i am raising money to give something back into the charity as I may need it later in life 🫀 I intend to run 10 miles. Thankyou for donating and taking the time to read. Harry.
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
