Story
I’m Running the London Marathon 2027 💙,
In December 2022, my dad was diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer. It completely changed our family’s lives and opened my eyes to how important awareness, early detection and support really are.
Thankfully, after surgery in January 2025, Dad became cancer-free. Watching his recovery has been incredible — from going through treatment and struggling with everyday life, to completing a 10K, running parkruns, taking on a half marathon and enjoying life again. He’s proof that there can be life, happiness and adventure after prostate cancer.
I’m running the London Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK for a third time in 2027 because I want to help make sure other families have that same hope.
This run is also incredibly personal because of Tony, a friend who supported my dad throughout his recovery. Tony was living with prostate cancer himself and sadly passed away in 2025. He supported my fundraising, donated to my previous marathon and always encouraged me to keep making a difference.
So this one is for Dad, for Tony, and for every man and family affected by prostate cancer.
Let’s keep raising awareness, supporting families and helping beat prostate cancer. 💙
Every donation, no matter how big or small, genuinely makes a difference. Thank you for supporting me on this journey.
