Story
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
As part of my ongoing bid to help Sue Ryder, I am now taking on the challenge of a half-marathon - that's just over 13 miles or 21 kms - in order to help provide funds for this very worthy and necessary organisation.
Many of you will already know my dad has terminal cancer, so it is now very personal for me, but there are many thousands of other people in a similar situation, who will understand how devastating cancer is for them and their families and friends.
If you can donate, even a pound, it will all help. And I promise I'll finish the run, whatever the cost to me personally, as this cause is bigger than any tired limbs! Thank you.
