Story

On Sunday 7th April I am going to be running the Southampton Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for the Psoriasis Association.

Psoriasis is a skin condition, overlooked by many, that causes extreme irritation, redness and swelling. It affects anywhere from the elbows, knees and scalp to all over the body. It is incredibly painful, and although not a life-threatening condition, causes physical and mental stress, as there is no cure. It also can make those who have it very self-conscious of their own body, causing ill mental health.

The condition has greatly affected some of those close to me, and I want to show my support to them, as well as everyone dealing with it, by running in this event. It would mean so much to have your support, so please donate to a very good cause, that a lot of people don't know about.

The Psoriasis Association is the leading national charity working for people with psoriasis and is self-funding. All donations received help to sustain their work in supporting people affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and help to raise awareness of the condition and fund research projects.

Please donate and thank you for your support!
