This charity is close to my heart because of their commitment to preserving and promoting community orchards across the UK.

The Orchard Project is the only national charity dedicated solely to the creation, restoration and celebration of community orchards. Orchards are essential components of a healthy and sustainable environment. They contribute to biodiversity, provide ecosystem services, and have social, cultural, and economic benefits for communities. The charity’s key activities include planting, restoring and improving urban community orchards; undertaking practical conservation work that promotes orchard biodiversity; delivering orchard skills training including accredited courses; and running community-based events and activities that bring people together.
