THE FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE

The Friendship Circle’s goal is to provide everyone with physical and learning disabilities the support, friendship and inclusion they deserve by providing a diverse range of fully integrated recreational and social programmes. We aim to combat loneliness and isolation through a variety of activities including day trips, nights out, weekly classes, parties, one to one buddy outings and much more.

Over the last 15 years, The Friendship Circle has enhanced the lives of many vulnerable people with physical and learning disabilities in our community through improved social opportunities, fun days and nights out and the commitment of our fantastic volunteers.

We run an exciting and varied calendar of fully integrated social and recreational programmes helping our members gain confidence, acquire new skills and build social connections. Our programmes enable our participants to forge lasting friendships and, together with our vast network of volunteers and a growing one-to-one buddy programme, we inspire a culture of understanding and acceptance, working to educate and transform the landscape of attitudes towards people with disabilities in our community.

Activities taking place every night of the week including a weekly art club, dance, wellbeing & fitness programme, rock climbing, drumming classes, exciting day trips and excursions, parties around the Yomtov Calendar and much, much more.
