I'm taking part in Child.org's Ride Africa challenge: cycling hundreds of kilometres cross-country to raise money for life-saving work in maternal and child health. I am completely self funding, and all the money raised will go to Child.org

This is a challenging and hard ride over dirt tracks across the African plains, cycling 100km per day for a week.

This charity does astonishing work for mothers and their children, and has made a massive difference to thousands of lives. It has revolutionised health care for maternity and childhood services in this region of Africa.
