Back in June 2023, Fiona was admitted to Salford Royal, after suffering from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The ICU Staff and the Neurosurgery team were astonishing throughout and we couldn't be more thankful for their efforts and support throughout this time. The whole experience was a rollercoaster, proving that anyone's life can change in seconds. More recently, Fiona had been admitted to Macclesfield Hospital - ICU, and was putting up a strong fight with the support of critical care staff, family and friends. Unfortunately, Fiona lost her very brave battle and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 7th 2025.

I have decided to do a Skydive, to raise money for the Intensive Care Society, to support Intensive Care Units to save lives. This is our way of giving something back, after the life-saving work they do on a daily basis.
