Hi, we're Briar and Pip and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Exactly a year ago, our lives were turned upside down when Briar was diagnosed with ALK+ lung cancer. ALK+ is a type of genetic mutation cancer with no known cause and no known cure. But there is hope, and ALK+ International was created with a single mission: to improve the life expectancy for ALK+ cancer patients.

12 months post diagnosis, we're ready for a physical challenge (something we both love) and plan to raise money and invest in hope.

Cheered on by our boys Max and Ollie, the Harvie-Heath Duathlon will involve Briar cycling from Brighton to Paris on April 9th before passing the baton on to Pip who will then run the Paris marathon on the 13th.

We'd really appreciate any amount of money which will fund research into finding a cure for this disease.
