Story
Assalamu Alaikum,
On 30 August 2026, I’ll be taking on the Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) at Night Challenge to raise funds for Al Qulub Trust in support of a humanitarian deployment to Syria this September.
The funds raised will go towards supporting my close friends, Omar and Nakash, who will be travelling with Al Qulub Trust to Aleppo and Idlib to deliver life-saving aid directly to families affected by years of conflict and hardship.
Earlier this year, they were blessed with the opportunity to take part in their first deployment. Hearing their experiences and seeing the impact that humanitarian work has on vulnerable families inspired me to do my part in supporting this mission.
This September, they will once again be on the ground, reaching some of the most isolated communities in Idlib and personally distributing your donations to those who need them most. Your support will help provide essential aid such as food parcels, clothing, bedding and other necessities to families who continue to face unimaginable hardship.
Every step I take up Snowdon is dedicated to helping them take aid to those who need it most. While the climb may be challenging, it is nothing compared to the daily struggles faced by so many families in Syria. I hope this challenge can play a small part in bringing them hope and relief.

No donation is too small. Whether you donate, share this page, or keep those affected in your du’as, every act of support makes a difference.
May Allah reward you abundantly, place barakah in your wealth, and accept this as sadaqah jariyah for you. Ameen.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran for your generosity and support.
