Story
Every year, floods batter Rural Sindh. They contaminate water sources meaning households are left with no alternative except to drink from hazardous, stagnant pools. The outcome is a disastrous ripple effect: waterborne infections spread, children become ill, and hope for survival dwindles However, where hopelessness had taken root, Babulilm Foundation recognised a chance to revive life.
With compassion at its core, the Water Aid Project set out to change the story. To date, we’ve installed over 2800 water pumps, giving households access to safe, clean water right in their neighbourhoods. These pumps do more than just quench thirst; they save lives, safeguard health, and help people rebuild their futures.
For £55, you can build a water hand pump and provide clean drinking water to thousands of people.
