I had a dream of being a pilot as a young woman at university but unfortunately my cancer treatment made me ineligible. Since then I have been lucky enough to look after many UK servicemen to whom many of us owe our lives and freedom. Having spent a lot of time with them I understand why they and their families need so much support.

Along with the marathon I will be undertaking a number of challenges including a triathlon with servicemen to aim to raise the most I can.

Please help me support those few who have supported the many at home and abroad.
