I am looking forward to taking part in a 20km walk on 20th September in order to raise funds for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

For the past 10 years, I have had the absolute privilege of working as a counsellor with ELF, supporting patients and their families through the incredibly difficult and often life-changing experience of a haematological diagnosis. During this time, I have seen first-hand the difference ELF makes, providing compassion, practical help and emotional support when people need it most.

It has been an enormous honour to meet and support so many courageous and inspiring people over the years, and the relationships I have built with ELF clients remain a very special part of my work. I am incredibly proud to be raising funds for such a wonderful local charity. Every donation, however small, will help ELF continue to support patients and families through some of the most challenging times in their lives.
