Story
I am taking on some big personal challenges over the next few months. All in the hope to raise much needed funds for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
10th May: Copenhagen Marathon
12-16th May: Cycling across 4 countries in 4 days (Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Italy)
14th June: Slateman Ultra Triathlon which consists of a 3.8km swim + 180km bike with 2400m elevation + 50km run up Snowdon with 2000m elevation
These challenges are not just a test of endurance but a heartfelt mission to support a cause that touches so many lives.
The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust is a sanctuary nestled in the beautiful Cheshire countryside at Booth Bank Farm, a historic 17th Century farmhouse. It offers free day visits and holidays to terminally ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children from across the North West. These children face complex challenges—from severe physical and learning disabilities to sensory impairments and terminal illnesses. Many are young carers or have endured profound loss and trauma. For these families, CAFT provides more than just respite; it offers a lifeline where they can create precious memories without barriers or judgment.
Your support can make an immense difference. By donating towards my fundraising target of £500, you help ensure that these vulnerable children continue to experience joy, comfort, and hope during their most difficult times. Please join me in championing this vital cause—every contribution brings us closer to giving these children the care and happiness they deserve.
