I’m raising money for the wonderful charity Aura’s dogs because of their unrivalled dedication to the dogs they care for. In particular, one very special tiny lady called Hattie who has had a very rough start to life.

Auras rescued little Hattie from terrible shelter life in Romania. When she arrived, She was so terrified she hid under the bath for 3 weeks in her foster home. But love always wins and she took tiny steps in gaining confidence with the help of a special doggy friend called Lottie and her foster mum Lauren.

Tiny scared Hattie was on the brink of finding a new home when she fell severely unwell. The vet said she had a fractured hip from an old hip injury and a terrible life threatening infection that had spread to her liver. Her temperature was sky high and the vet could not believe she was still eating and moving around. He said, had it been one more day, she would have died. She needed an operation to remove part of her hip to prevent the infection returning. Auras were with her every step of the way and her foster mum said she was worth every penny.

Auras were left with a huge £3000 bill so I would love to help them recoup some of those vital funds that small charities like this need. Their dedication to their dogs and finding them the right homes is second to none, it’s run by volunteers and they rarely take a day off.

I cannot thank them enough for giving little Hattie a second and third chance at the happy life she so deserves.
