Haverhill Running Clubs charity of the year 2023

East Anglian Air Ambulance provides advanced critical care 24/7 to the most seriously ill and injured people in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire by air and road. Each tasking costs on average £4,250 and, with no regular government funding, we rely almost entirely on public support.

Story

The iconic yellow bird flying in our skies above East Anglia is a sight that we have all seen.

This organisation helps to save lives every single day and only exists thanks to its supporters.

The goal for HRC this year is to raise £2000!

Thank you for your support and for helping this lifesaving emergency service continue to save lives.

Statement from EAAA:

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. We exist to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. We do not receive regular direct government funding and the £17 million we need to raise this year comes directly from charitable donations. We are only kept airborne thanks to our incredible supporters.
